We don't ship worldwide by default but if you're after something specific, we'll be more than happy to help. Our Colorado-based team previously found that TRP's similar HY/RD model didn't suffer any noticeable brake fade on long descents of Boulder's Flagstaff mountain, and indications are good that the Juin Tech R1 brakes handle themselves similarly.

I've ridden Campagnolo's (excellent) full hydraulic brakes extensively, and would be hard pressed to tell the difference. I can't speak to the SRAM piece of the equation, but I can't imagine it's *that* different from Shimano. Finance is provided by PayPal Credit (a trading name of PayPal UK Ltd, Whittaker House, Whittaker Avenue, Richmond-Upon-Thames, Surrey, United Kingdom, TW9 1EH). All was well; on wet descents they scrubbed off speed smoothly and noticeably quicker than my rim brakes on carbon rims. This allows you to use your normal sti/ergo levers on a disc brake bike without the expense of upgrading everything to accommodate a full hydraulic set up.

The brake pads of the JUIN hybrid brakes work with a cable-operated, closed hydraulic mineral oil system. This system is ideal for those who want to use these brakes with standard or flush or non-hydraulic road or cyclocross controls. The weight of each single actuator is only 142 grams, 53 less than the TRP HY / RD which have the same type of operation and 28 less than the mechanical TRP Spyke.

Give that it is a budget bike it was never going to make sense up dating to full hydros so the alternative seemed to be TRP HY/RD, however people seem to have mixed views on how well these run, so I was never 100% keen on these. One thing to note: when the GT's heat up, the pistons are a little slow to retract until they cool off a bit - just like my Shimano hydros.Uncompromising performance, ease-of-use, and great looks to boot - the Juin Tech GT-F brakes tick all the boxes.

Main reason I’m looking is because I still like my cross-top levers, so until hope launch their hydro ones there aren’t many options. It was very helpful that the package came with a set of rotors, so this is a way to save some money if that's what you're into.Yes, these are some of the lightest disc brakes available (designed for adults) but they're also a closed hydraulic circuit design, providing hydraulic power where it's needed at the pistons, but cable actuated, so they can still be used with short-reach shifters needed by children.
