I've ridden Campagnolo's (excellent) full hydraulic brakes extensively, and would be hard pressed to tell the difference. I can't speak to the SRAM piece of the equation, but I can't imagine it's *that* different from Shimano. Give that it is a budget bike it was never going to make sense up dating to full hydros so the alternative seemed to be TRP HY/RD, however people seem to have mixed views on how well these run, so I was never 100% keen on these.
