If someone complained the protagonist looks Japanese then deal with it because this is a Japanese manga. When I watch a Hollywood movie, I don't expect it to represents world view. Have you ever seen a American movie with a Russian/Chinese/Indian/or any non-American saving the world? One thing I think is needed to warn you at this point is that in the same way that the story doesn't contain many detailed explanations, names also do not have. So don't get too stressed with names, just keep reading that it will gradually make sense and the direction is then shown. To explain this better before entering the manga storyline, here's a brief description: In Greek mythology, the Giants were a race of great strength and aggression - though not necessarily large - known as Gigantomachia or Giganto Makhia and their battles with the Olympian gods. According to Hesiod, the Giants were the children of Gaia (Earth), born of the blood that fell when Uranus (Heaven) was castrated by Titan son of Cronus. As for the bad things, I feel like I am obligated to mention them here because I forgot to mention them in the prior part of my review (sorry!). While there is something rewarding about catching up on a manga series like One Pieceor Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure, many long-running series begin as one-shots, making short manga a vital part of the industry. Still, even on their own, one-shots and short manga are great ways to introduce readers to complex, immersive stories without a lengthy time commitment.

Loo, Egan (November 3, 2013). "Berserk Manga to Resume After Miura Runs 6-Chapter Mini-Series". Anime News Network. Archived from the original on November 18, 2021 . Retrieved May 20, 2021. Miura was probably worried of how much depth and political incorrectness he has put in the Conviction Arc of Berserk, and seems to have attempted to repent his imperialist manliness in this weird single. Fierce Gains ( 剛 ( ごう ) 筋 ( きん ) , Gōkin ?): Gigantomachia's sixth Quirk allows his muscles to harden at exceptional levels. Shuna’s Journey follows a prince who seeks to end a famine plaguing his people by finding golden seeds that grow in a distant and dangerous land. On his travels, Shuna rescues others from being imprisoned and eaten by cannibals, even as he remains focused on the task at hand. While the one-shot manga does not have a Studio Ghibli adaptation, Miyazaki’s other media remains as compelling as his films. Oct 25 Yearning Teens, Frustrated Romance, Pretty Skies — Is There Anything Else to Makoto Shinkai? Riding into the Sunset: The manga ends in Delos and Prome continuing their journey through the desert towards the setting sun. Gladiator Games: Delos used to be a gladiator, forced to fight to death against various kinds of Beast Men. Being somewhat of a Gentle Giant, Delos didn't enjoy this, so he invented an overly flashy way of fighting to give the audience enough entertainment so that both the fighters could leave the arena alive.

In exchange for bountiful waters and calm waves, Yosuke’s family guards mermaid eggs at the local shrine. However, as Yosuke’s town begins developing land, his father decides to use the egg to attract tourists and investors who don’t understand or respect its value. Determined to follow through on his ancestral duty, Yosuke does his best to recover the egg, pacify a mermaid’s concerns, and save his hometown by the sea. The development of the plot in the manga will always be surprising enough and always giving a positive and impactful shot at the reader, as is the custom of the Miura. Giganto Makhia has however a much lighter and less dense plot that Bersek and even reaches funny parts that are always given by the pair of protagonists. Still, we can not help but notice the social discussion between the lines and of course, the struggles that are at least energizing. There's no conclusion. The "ending" is some Gainax Ending that is the terror of any anime/manga fans who had experiences with bad endings, and can cause chills down the spine of Berserk fans if you stop to think that Miura could have done this to Berserk. At least we know from his final interview there WOULD be at least 2 main battles against the evildoers and the main characters wouldn't just hide their heads in the sand and become farmers because muh conflict bad. From Berserk creator Kentaro Miura comes Giganto Maxia, a science-fiction/fantasy manga of titanic proportions! One hundred million years in the future, the Empire of Olympus uses colossal mutant beasts to crush its adversaries. Only the gladiator Delos, the mystic Prome, and the titan Gohra can hope to prevent genocide! From The Creator Of Berserk-- Giganto Maxia!".
