Moving between humour and hazard, Devil's Delight kept me on my toes throughout as I devoured each chapter. In the meantime, Agatha's hectic life swirls along at dizzying pace, her private detective agency as busy as ever and her private affairs in turmoil - old loves to contend with and a new suitor on the scene. In Devil's Delight it is the day of Alice Peters and Bill Wong's wedding and Agatha and her assistant, Toni Gilmour, are on their way there when they happen upon a man in his birthday suit running in the road. There didn’t seem to be a lot of character development, and while the story unfolded with all questions answered, I found it boring at times. I would like to thank Netgalley, Mintauer Books and the authors for an advanced reader copy of this novel in exchange for an honest opinion.

Edward Carstairs found a dead body positioned on an ancient stone, but when Agatha and her associate go to investigate, it’s gone.

Agatha remembers that her good friend and ex lover Sir Charles Fraith owns the land that the nudist camp is on.

While Charles and Agatha are driving away, Theresa jumps into the back seat of Charles' car and tells Charles to move the car and get her as far away as possible from Ursula and Ulrika. Toni suggests that since Ulrika leads the role-playing game for the naturist club, she may ask to participate and get a better idea of whether or not Ulrika and her sister killed Antonio. Then there was the swimming at the Naturist society barbecue when we discovered that Agatha learned how to swim the breaststroke without putting her head underwater so that she wouldn't get her hair wet and make it look bad and not mess up her lipstick. In this one, Agatha and Toni Gilmour, a detective in Agatha's detective agency, Raisin Investigations, drive to Agatha's friends at the police force wedding. Cosy crime with a touch of bite' Belfast Telegraph'Crime in the Cotswolds has never been livelier than in Agatha's fizzingly funny cases, and this one takes the biscuit' - Peterborough TelegraphPraise for M.Granted, her character has changed a bit with the new author, but I can chalk it up to her mellowing and being more comfortable in her own skin. Audio “Delight” I picked up the audio version of Devil’s Delight thrilled to discover that my favorite actress, Dame Penelope Keith, once again is the narrator enriching my listening pleasure. Agatha and her team have a few cases to solve, including a disappearing dead body, theft at a brewery, and drug dealing at a girls school.

It happens like this: Agatha and her assistant Toni Gilmour are driving to the Wong-Peters nuptials. Private detective Agatha Raisin - a fiftyish Englishwoman with small bear-like eyes and shiny brown hair - lives in Carsley, a pretty village in the Cotswolds. There was nothing necessarily unusual about that, except this man, who we later find out is Edward Carstairs, is completely naked! Toni and Agatha know there is more to this story, and believe there was a body there, so they decide to investigate it on their own.
